After
graduating from the U. S. Military Academy
at West Point, Mr. Tapp spent four years
in various leadership positions in the
U.S. Army Infantry, finishing his career
as a Mechanized Infantry Company Commander
in the U.S. Army Rapid Deployment force.
After completion of his military service,
he joined Mobil Oil Corporation.
At Mobil,
he held positions in engineering, sales,
marketing and management. During his tenure at Mobil, his
responsibilities included; the development
of new distribution channels, the merging
of key distributors, and marketing and
financial consultation to privately held
distributors within his organization.
In
1996,
Mr. Tapp formed Summit Acquisitions Group,
LLC, a mergers and acquisitions a firm offering
comprehensive mergers, acquisition and
business development services.
Mr.
Tapp has owned and operated several businesses.
In his capacity of founder and managing
partner of Summit Acquisitions Group, Mr.
Tapp has been the lead intermediary in
over 100 mergers and acquisitions
transactions. He holds
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
an
MBA.
